Our Bayview Dental Centre team, led by Dr Joy Lee, enjoy improving the oral health of our patients with the most up-to-date technologies available. We constantly integrate new technologies into our practice to make your visits more comfortable and efficient while providing excellent results.
CEREC Dental Crowns
CEREC stands for 'Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic.' Traditional dental crowns can take weeks to design and create, but dentists can create CEREC dental crowns in just one appointment. This technology allows us to create restorations in our Helensvale and Runaway Bay clinics quickly and easily, making the dental crown process even smoother and more convenient for our patients.
We can provide Helensvale and Runaway Bay patients with the most efficient dental care and services with digital records. Digital records, including radiographs and intraoral photographs, allow us to track the progress of your oral health and any developing dental issues. Everything is stored securely on our encrypted network.
Digital x-rays allow Dr Joy Lee and our other experienced dentists to spot dental and oral health problems that they wouldn't have the ability to see with the naked eye. Digital x-rays emit less radiation, allow for improved exposures and are vividly clear. Digital x-rays make our diagnoses and treatments more accurate and efficient, increasing your likelihood for excellent results and better oral health.
TVs in Rooms
To make our patients' dental experiences as comfortable and pleasant as possible, we provide televisions in our exam rooms. Many patients find watching television to be a great distraction during dental procedures. It helps to keep patients calm and entertained throughout the visit, and it can make dental anxiety less of an issue. Plus, everyone deserves a few moments of entertainment to themselves!
Our intraoral cameras at Bayview Dental Centre help you see what the dentist sees during your examination. With intraoral cameras, you can get a look inside your mouth, and we can point out any dental issues that we see, like cavities or gum recession. We can also use the intraoral camera to take images of problem areas for your digital records. We can use those images in later appointments to track developing dental issues.
With rotary endodontics, we can provide root canal therapy more quickly and efficiently than is possible with traditional dental tools. The rotary tool we use is electrically powered and flexible, which helps us perform quick and precise root canal treatments. We love the reliability and comfort this treatment method offers our patients, and we are pleased to have this technology in our clinic.
